Sanibel/Captiva question

Not sure where this might belong , so I thought I'd try here:

We're headed to Captiva in May with two little ones (18 mos. and 3 1/2). I recall there being a nice playground on Sanibel, but does anyone know whether there are any playgrounds on Captiva? We're staying right near the village and would love to avoid driving over to Sanibel just for some park time. I seem to recall there was one down by South Seas Resort, but since we're not staying there, I'm guessing we can't use it. They were pretty strict about stuff like that last time we were down.

I would go to tripadvisor and ask this on the Captiva forum. There's a great group there who know lots (there's also a forum for Sanibel). We're going to Sanibel in two weeks!!
