The drive is about 35 miles so it should take approximately 45 minutes. Take Airport Blvd out of the airport, then TOLL 417 Southbound. Connect to TOLL 408 westbound to downtown Orlando and then I-4 westbound (direction Tampa) to the Universal exit. Very easy drive. If you're doing this during the afternoon rush hour (after 4pm), there could be congestion around downtown Orlando connecting onto I-4 and congestion at various points along I-4 as well.
Along TOLL 417 (also called the Seminole Expressway in Seminole County and the Central Florida Greeneway in Orange County) there are two tolls of $2.00 and $.75 respectively. Along TOLL 408 (also called the East-West Expressway) there will be one toll of $1.00. I-4 is free. All toll plazas are staffed in case you need to make change. If you have exact coins, you can use the automated booths. If you have a SunPass or E-PASS, you can use the use the designated lanes and pass the tolls at highway speeds without stopping.
