Sandy Ridge?

We will be at WDW the first week of March, and plan to stay offsite. Last trip we stayed in Indian Creek...and it was wonderful. But since that house was rented by the time we planned this trip, I am just looking for pool home that will sleep all 7 of us. The one thing that my DH has requested is a private pool & spa.

It appears we can get more for our money if we are willing to go further out...specifically Sandy Ridge. We don't mind an additional 10-15 minutes tacked onto our drive each way, but if there are any huge traffic headaches or other issues, we would want to take those into consideration. Or if it would add another 30 minutes each way (compared to Indian Creek).

I did search, but most of the informative posts about Sandy Ridge were several years old (or I didn't find them) and I wanted to check to see if anything had changed.

Thanks so much! The Dis boards in general, and this board specifically, have helped me in so many ways. Usually I can find answers w/o even posting. I greatly appreciate your collective wisdom

I've never stayed there but we drove through once because there was a house we liked for sale. We used to live in the area. It's less than 10 mins from Indian Creek. If you were going to MK, DHS or Epcot I'd take I4 which is close by. If you are going to DAK I would take Osceola Polk Line Rd to Old Lake Wilson. I don't know when you're going but there usually isn't too much traffic in the area. You're on I4 for such a short time that it shouldn't be a problem. According to Google it's 13 minutes to MK from Indian Creek and 19 minutes from Sandy Ridge.

If you need any info on that area let me know. We can point you in the right direction.
