Sandy Lake Towers

We have a deal through WestGate Resorts where we can stay at Sandy Lake Towers for 4 days 3 nights then go to River Ranch for 3 days 2 nights. The Resort we are sloted to stay at is Sandy Lake Towers. I had heard some bad things about it but then also read on some website that Westgate was completely remodeling it since buying it. Has anyone stayed here lately?
