DAY FOUR ~ MGM and ASMu VISIT!
Mickey wake up call 8am! Still loving the wake up calls! The kids were still getting a treat in the big yellow gift bag daily! The Mickey wake up calls and daily gifts from Mickey really makes ON SITE Disney worth it! We had PS at H&V, but I canceled it because we had half a dozen character meals booked and lots of character greetings and caravans ~ the kids were sleepy so it wasn't worth the rushed effort that morning. Now that we clued into ds's teething, we were set with Tylenol and he was good to go the rest of the trip! OFF TO MGM! We arrived about 10am. Security at all the parks (no security at the water parks) was a real joke. It's just for show folks. Most of the time the security guys/gals were more like CM's getting us into the DISNEY MOOD with songs and chatting! One day Baloo was even at security checking bags! Everyone was standing around laughing and having a blast but I don't think that's the point of security. At AK the day before, the security guy was having us chant "NOT A ZOO, NOT A ZOO!" Fun, yes, security, NOPE! All the parks security was a breeze, except MGM. It was a zoo! LONG LINES! But I still could have brought ANYTHING past the guards. Can't see this effort lasting much longer. Just thought I'd mention the security issue since it was LONG at MGM. DH and DD hit ToT and RnR first thing. RnR didnt' sit well with DH ~ LOL! PUPPY! Off to Star Tours and Playhouse ~ FUN FUN FUN! Buzz and Woody were next and ds just loved it! We left about 1pm. (BTW, ToT NEVER HAD LINE UPS AT ALLLLL!) We had breakky and lunch in the room (love having groceries!) DD and I went for a swim in the Ranchos quiet pool while DS and DH rested in the room. DS didnt nap that day ~ just rested. We all liked watching the WDW TOUR channel. DD meet a nice little girl from NH and they played while I baked in the sun chatting with another family. DD got sun-tired and rested back at the room. Around 4:30pm we went to ASMo for dinner at the food court. Liked this a lot! The food court was fast, easy and good. A lady who worked there over heard me talk about getting ds a pizza and she went and got it for me! The ice cream in good there! The kids really loved the GIANT TOY STORY bldgs. We played there was a while! Off to MGM around 6:30pm ~ Fantasmic at 8:30pm ~ WOW, what a show! We hoped to see it again, but never had time! Back to CSR and kids in bed about 10pm! The next day was a REST day and water park! SEE YA REAL SOON! Sandra
