Sandals/Walking Shoes for DD2

I need to get my DD2 a pair of sandals for our trip coming up in November. I'd preferably like the ones that cover her toes but still have the openings on the sides and what not so her feet can breath. Does anyone know where I can find them? I see kids wearing them all the time but can't figure out how to find them on ShoeBuy or Zappos. Thanks!

You probably want Keen sandals. This is the end of the season so many places have them on sale.

I agree that Keens are nice. Another option that can be paired with casual clothes or dresses is a fisherman style sandal from Stride Rite. I just bought these for DD from Amazon for just $20. It was HARD to find any sandals in stores; stock is really depleted.

I'm a traditionalist so I went with the white, but if you search around, Stride Rite makes lots of different color combos. And I'm not usually brand loyal, but I only put Stride Rite on my kids' feet when they're new walkers.

My twins have keens (which sound like what you want) but wanted to add another option for you. This year we bough some OshKosh X-Treme Sport Sandals and we personally like them better then the keens. They hold up great, keep feet safe, offer good support/coverage and were only $12 compared to the $45 we spent on keens. Just another option for you .
