Sandals...anything other than tevas???

I saw a post on the Cruise Board regarding a sale at a website with Tevas. I also saw this post on the Budget board (it's where the person that posted on the Cruise board saw the information). Has anyone had any experience with sandals other than tevas? I looked at some of the sandals and am going to need something a bit more "dressy" for casual nights on our cruise and just don't know that much about sandals.

Can anyone help or offer any suggestions. I have a wide foot and I need something that is going to be comfortable and that I'm not going to "regret" wearing. Thanks

I love my rockports and they are dressy enough to wear with sundresses.

I have Columbia ones, and I love them.. in fact I don't like Teva's they didn't do a thing for me.

My columbia ones look suedey, but they aren't. My SIL and DH have a pair as well.

I love Birks, in fact I had my last pair for 8 years and they just fell apart at the end of last summer so I have to get another pair.

I LOVE my Birks with the soft footbed, they are heaven. I have 2 pairs. However, I do not think they would be considered dressy. The 3 strap ones look better than the 2 strap, but I know a lot of people don't like the way they look.

I love Timberland sandles. I have one pair that has lasted over 4 years and I wear them every day in the summer.

Love Birks!!! It's the only thing I wear. Sandals in the summer and clogs in the winter with heavy socks. Their catalog or QVC has many different styles including some that are considered dressy.

I wear Mephisto's. They are pricey but I love, love, love them. I can't wear Birk's but I have a narrow foot. I live in my Mephisto's and I can't imagine wearing anything else. My MIL loves her Clarks and they would be dressy enough for dresses and my sister swears by Born's. I quess what I am saying is that everybody has a different favorite. My suggestion is to try on a bunch of different pairs and pick the one that is best for you. BTW I have a pair of Mephisto's that are black patent leather. They are my dress sandals!

Another vote for birks, I have 6 pairs and that is all I wear. I buy most at QVC since their prices are so good and they really have the best selection around. You can even find some that are a bit more dressy for with a skirt or sundress. I wear mine year round.
