Sand Key (Clearwater)

We're thinking of going to the beach at Sand Key Park on our next visit. We've been there before, but early in the day. On this trip, we may not get there until early afternoon. Anyone know if the parking lot fills up as quickly as at Clearwater Beach? We'll be there in early May.
