Sand castles Kids Club at the beach club?

Hello! I am considering whether or not to have my 4 & 6 year old daughters spend a few hours at sandcastles in the beach club while my husband mom and myself spend some time at the Food and Wine Festival in Epcot one evening during our trip. We will be at WDW in November, and I thought it would be nice to have a few adults only hours during the Food and Wine Festival. Please let me know if you have any experience at this particular Kids Club, and whether or not you would recommend it. What types of activities do they do with the kids? How are the people who run the kids club? Do they serve dinner? We would likely use it for about three to four hours, but definitely no more than that. We may also use it as an opportunity to dine without the kids, so I would be curious whether the kids club will provide a meal. Thank you in advance for your help!

My daughter (5) went there for a few hours so we could have a date night on our trip and she loved it! I was so worried she wouldn't have fun but it went really well. They did serve dinner, they have you choose it in advance. There were tons of things to do and other kids there, and when we came to pick her up she didn't want to leave, lol.

I can't remember exactly what all they had. The staff were great and super nice.

Our girls have gone there twice and loved it! There are multiple play areas. There are video games. The workers are very nice in there. Dinner is served and you chose what your child is having when you check them in.

We did exactly that - dropped the children and went to F&W for a few hours. It was a great date night!

Dd8 has gone there at least 20 times overthrow past 4 years. On long trips she asks to go to a kids club at least 2x. They serve dinner at 2 times. I think 6 and 8 but might be off a bit on times. You pick at drop off what they eat. Mostly standard kid options with a side, drink and dessert. There are coloring/art stations, a dress up area, video stations and every Disney toy needed to keep kids active. The staff are part of the recreational staff. Very friendly.

We have dropped her off and just walked around the resort or watched fireworks. It is nice to have a full conversation with adults in a very kid centered environment.

Sand Castle Club is awesome. My boys love it - it's a great set up! They ask to go each time we go to WDW...I am sure they will be sad when they are finally too old for it!

Does anyone know if the other clubs are the same or one is better or worse than the others? We've enjoyed the Sandcastle Club and are planning to return but also maybe try out another one.

We want to do the Sandcastle Club for a F+W date night, too. My daughter is 11. Are there other kids at that age on typical nights? (My son, age 6, will also be there....so she won't be completely alone.)

My DS7 LOVES the Sandcastle Club and Lilo's Playhouse! We stayed at BCV for a week in April and happened to be at the Poly one evening. Putting him in a kids' club wasn't even on the agenda, but we walked by Lilo's Playhouse and he really wanted to check it out, so we let him go in. He LOVED it! Because we were at BCV, we thought we would then let him try the Sandcastle Club. Again, he absolutely loved it and asked to go back every day. They do a combination of structured and unstructured activities and as the PP's have mentioned they serve dinner around 6 pm and 8 pm each night. The children (or parents) order the meal they would like at drop off. We will be at Poly in August and I've already told DS he can go back to Lilo's Playhouse - he's so excited!

As for the ages of the children, it just really depends on the night and who is in there. They had a mix of ages when my DS was there. The staff is lovely. Very safety conscious and kind. You have to fill out a bit of paperwork when you drop the children off and show ID when you pick them up.

We did the exact same thing last September with our almost 5 year old twins. They said it was the best part of their whole trip...LOL

They begged me to go again in Feb so we booked a dinner at Artist Point and let them go to the kids club at WL!

They are really great with the kids and they loved eating dinner there!!!!!
