I have heard a lot of good recommendations for this restaurant but mostly people rave about the bread service -- which as I understand we couldn't get on the dining plan? Would they let me substitute an entree choice for that appetizer? Sounds like if we're on the meal plan all week we will be full enough. I'd rather try the best choice and eating with a view of the savannah sounds great.

Just another reason the dining plan is a bad deal. The appetizers are often the best part of the menu.

You can always pay out of pocket for the bread services you could even split an entrée and save a credit for later if there's a better use/value for it.

That's a good point! We are going with free dining and the character meals work out to a good value for us.

We ate at Sanaa last month, and can tell you that the bread service is definitely worth the OOP expense! We had the one with all 9 dipping sauces since it was only $2 more than the one with only 3 dipping sauces. My bf is severely allergic to cinnamon, so the chef was willing to sub out the sauces that contained cinnamon, and then we doubled-up on the others that were 'safe'.
