Sanaa (Animal Kingdom Villas Kidani Village) Dining reservations may be made by Disney Vacation Club Owners only beginning February 16, 2009. Sanaa will be serving Lunch and Dinner. No date on when reservations will open to everyone

Sanaa (pronounced sah-NAH), the new table service restaurant at Animal Kingdom Villas' Kidani Village set to open May 1, 2009, will begin taking reservations for Disney Vacation Club Members ONLY (via Member Services) beginning February 16. Named for the Swahili word for "artwork," Sanaa will feature African-inspired cuisine with an Indian touch and will be open for lunch and dinner. The restaurant will serve familiar foods prepared in tandoor ovens, along with slow-cooked specialties showcasing the flavorful spices of Africa.

Non-DVC Members can make reservations at Sanaa beginning February 23 by calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463).

Has anyone booked a meal there yet? Do you think it will on the ddp? It does look interesting.

I haven't made one yet but i'm sure we'll try it either in May or the Fall. It does sound intriguing and I can't wait to see the new lobby in Kidani.

Oh, I forgot...I did read somewhere that it will be one credit on the DDP.

Made my ADR for my May trip on the 16th. Really looking forward to it. I did read on one of the DVC boards that CMs have been telling people that it will be one credit on the DDP. (I wasn't given this info when I called because I will not be using DDP.)

They are to start taking reservations for the general public (nonDVC ) on Feb 23rd. I'm planning on calling that day, but am afraid it's going to already be booked by DVcers. It's supposedly 1 credit on the DDP.

I made my ressies there for arrival day 5/17, late lunch/early dinner...I cant wait!
