Looking for input from those who have eaten at Sanaa with kids. Our kids are 12 and 9. They are not overly picky. We were going to try Boma, but paying over $30 for a buffet for a 12 year seems just crazy to me. If you have been to Sanaa with kids, how did they like it and what did they order? TIA!!

Seems the Animal viewing is the draw for children at Sanaa. I'd suggest attending lunch or if you're going in summer when the days are longer try an early dinner.

Honestly, depending on what you think you'll order at Sanaa, price for the family may not be less or much less vs Boma. We were two adults and had a bowl of soup, bread service, two entrees (shrimp and fish selections), pot of tea and dessert sampler. Dinner at Boma would have been $33 each. I didn't see the final bill, but I bet it was over $66.

I loved our meal at Sanaa and its on our do over list. I'm also a fan of Boma dinner. I'm not sure I'd choose Sanaa as the "budget" option vs Boma. Two great places with different dining experiences.

Thanks for the input. I had not thought about the fact that the animal viewing would be limited at dinner. I am not so concerned about the cost for my husband and I compared to Boma as I do think they will be about the same. My thought was more that I didn't want to pay $30 for a child who while not really picky is not a huge eater. Will have to keeep thinking about this one.
