It'll be early/mid June. I'm guessing it doesn't get dark until 7/8?

Looks like mid-June is about 8:25pm. An early-ish dinner time would give you plenty of time to enjoy the animals and birds that are out.

Be aware that the trip from AK to AKL on Disney buses can take much longer than the 10 to 15 minutes some people have apparently experienced. Before we ate at Jiko, I also asked how long it would take & received similar replies. Fortunately, we finished up in the park sooner than we anticipated. We walked out of the front turnstile 45 minutes prior to our ADR thinking we had all kinds of time based on what I had read here. In reality, we practically ran from the AKL bus stop to Jiko & we're still about 5 minutes late checking in. If we were going to Sanaa, we would have been even later. The bus stopped at the lodge first. If we ever go from AK to AKL to eat again, we'll give ourselves at least an hour to make it using Disney buses.

Good point to remember anytime you take a bus in the World. Always leave yourself extra time. My earlier response was, indeed, based on driving my own vehicle. Even then, you should allow time to walk to the car, the drive, and then parking/walking at AKL.
