Sanaa on HS day?

We're staying at YC and not planning an AK day. I was thinking of doing a late lunch (245p) at Sanaa on our HS day and then heading back to HS for Osborne lights.

I figured we could take an AKL bus from HS and vice versa.

We currently have an H&V for 1025 because my kids are Disney Jr fanatics. I'm hoping to move that earlier but that ressie has been booked solid.

Has anyone done this? How long of a bus trip is it between?

The other option is a 710p Sanaa ADR but I don't think that gives us enough time for the Osborne lights and then a bus to AKL/Sanaa. Plus I'm hoping to score a window seat!

Have you made this lunch ADR already? Because maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not aware of lunch time hours at this restaurant. Either way, I don't think it will work out at all, not even taking a taxi. It will just be way to much back and forth, IMO. Maybe try for a 5pm ADR at Sanaa. That will give you some daylight to see the animals, and plenty of time to get back to DHS for the Osbourn lights. Yes, I have a 245 already. A 5p would be PERFECT but those are hard to come by.
I'm also debating a 720p ressie for our last MK day (it's a party night).

You won't watch the later ADR because you will enjoy it more during the day. Once the time changes you are looking at sunset by 5:30 pm.

It's very doable from HS to AKL, less than 5 miles.

Just don't overeat or think you need to get your moneys worth at H&V and you will be just fine at Sanaa. Or, cancel the H&V ADR altogether, spend more time in the courtyard at Hollywood Studios and eat a better, cheaper, lighter breakfast.

Canceling Disney jr character meal is akin to mutiny with my 3yo. Lol

I'm going to keep checking for a 5 PM meal. I was looking at the lunch and I think we'd really enjoy dinner more.
