Sanaa for lunch instead of dinner?

Group wants to eat a bigger meal before Christmas party. I don't, but I can snack on the bread service. We plan on Sanaa for lunch that day (staying at AKL).

I'm not sure what time, but do you think we need reservations for lunch? Or is it a walk up? Thinking maybe about 2:30, we plan to arrive by party between 4 and 5.

All my trips to WDW and we've never eaten a sit down lunch!

I agree - a reservation is a safer approach. I recommend an early seating when Sanaa opens for lunch (assuming you're hungry by then) since this will increase your chance of getting a table by the window to better see the animals.

Also, as a helpful tip in case you haven't noticed yet, the lunch and dinner menus are nearly identical. The dinner menu adds lamb and steak options, but otherwise, you should have all other choices available to you at lunch (including the wonderful bread service!).

We plan to grab breakfast in there a couple times during our stay as I found out they serve "quick service" as a sit down! I watched a video where a lady was eating breakfast and this amazing bird was just standing there watching her!

And unless things have changed since I was there last February, getting a window table shouldn't be hard. When I was there, around 9:30, there were plenty of window tables available.
