Sanaa Breakfast starts today...

and BAM the ADR plan blows up! If we could get here for a quick breakfast I would skip dinner. So for this you pick your own table? That could be good or bad depending on how busy it is! Do you think the animals are out in the morning....so many questions.....:yay:

There in lies the million dollar question.

Quick Serve would imply but we know how this will head especially with the animals ............ small restaurant, minimal tables by the windows - snagged by parties of 2 or 6 dragging chairs around the restaurant. I see ugly written all over it.

Maybe just leave the animals in the barn until lunch time.

I like this. We were just there over Labor Day week. They had the grab and go stuff in the gift shop but it would have been nice to have a place for a full breakfast.

Do you know the breakfast hours? Will it close for little while before lunch at 11:30 am?

I tried to check the Disney website but it's so slow I can't see if they updated hours.

I have ADR at 11:35 am hoping to sit by the window. There's just 2 of us. If the breakfast hours continues to lunch without closing in between, it's not necessary for me to have 11:35 am ADR.

Looks like 7-10am so you should be fine.

I'm looking for reviews from anyone who has eaten breakfast at Sanaa. I realize it's only been open two mornings, but trying to determine of the setting and food is worth the short trek from Jambo (where we'll be staying in two weeks) over simply grabbing a quick breakfast at Mara.

Also, does anyone know how far is it to walk to Sanaa from Jambo?

Here is the quick-service menu, which sounds very similar to Mara's:
  • Savannah Platter – Two farm fresh eggs any style, tomato chutney, Tanzanian hash browns and bacon
  • Bore Breakfast – Two farm fresh eggs any style, tomato chutney, Tanzanian hash browns, Boerewors sausage and bacon
  • Safari Waffle – Waffle topped with seasonal berries and chai whipped cream
  • Sunrise Sandwich – Egg, ham, and cheddar cheese served on a croissant
  • Fruit Sosatie – With Quinoa and dried fruit salad
  • Kids Explorer Platter – One farm fresh egg any style, hash browns, and bacon
  • Kids Mickey Waffle – Two Mickey waffles and bacon

The offerings look very similar to the Mara when we stayed at Kidani 2 weeks ago. We never did eat breakfast at Mara but I did browse the menu a few times.

I would not recommend walking from Jambo to Kidani. There is a van that runs all day that shuttles guests back and forth. We never waited more than 10 minutes for the shuttle.

Great if you want to pool hop.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the information! I am looking forward to breakfast there in Nov!

Josh at easywdw.com did a review. Looks good! Not sure I would trek there from anywhere but Jambo or Kidani...but nice option to have!
