No, when you go you order and can eat your breakfast there in the restaurant or ask for it to go and take it back to your room.

Not required. You go into the bar/lounge to get grab and go stuff (yoghurt, etc.) and you can order entrees and indicate that you'll eat there. They'll give you something to mark your table and you just pick where to sit and they'll deliver it. It's not usually been too busy when we've gone so we've been able to get a table right by the window and watch the animals in the daylight. Sadly, they no longer have the shakshuka on the menu but there's other things that look good so hopefully we'll be able to make time next week ourselves for breakfast there.
