Check out Scott Joseph's uncharacteristically favourable review (I reckon he's going soft in his old age ;)). Be sure to take a look at the video footage.

From what I'd read previously, I'd imagined this was your typical Indian restaurant/takeaway fare, but it sounds (and looks) as though it could be considerably better than that.

Thanks Deb for that -I have an Adr booked for July. I never expected that you would be able to look out at the animals thats a bonus. I cant wait to try it:thumbsup2

Nice link, Deb. Definitely sounds like Scott enjoyed (some!) of his Sanaa experience!!

I'm glad to see more favourable reviews - I ate there in May and it was fantastic, a definite must do on my next visit.

Glad you enjoyed it. What do you recommend?

We went for lunch so it's a slightly different menu. To start we shared the lamb kefta which came with a very generous serving of tamarind and dried papaya sauce, it had quite a quick to it, and also the potato and pea samosas - I can't have pastry but I had the filling and OMG it was delicious, we chose mango chutney to accompany it, and again it was really good.

For mains we had a mix of club sandwich - although 'just' a club sandwich it was very good, it had turkey bacon and fresh turkey breast, and all was increadibly fresh, the icing on the cake was the chickpea/cucumber/tomato salad that came with it - and tandoori chicken which was wrapped in Naan bread with cucumber yogurt raita.

We enjoyed everything :)

Great review again. I can't wait to eat there in August. We have an 5:00 ADR so hopefully will catch some of the opening ceromony singing too (and get a window seat!)

I'm hoping for this too :thumbsup2
