So, if my choices for San Diego are the last weekend in April or Memorial day weekend in May, which is better? We have been before and stay at Paradise Point and would like to swim. We are planning Sea World the Zoo and Legoland. I think April would have lower crowds but May would be better for swimming.....what to do??????

I think that April is probably warm enough to swim and that crowds will be lower than Memorial Day weekend. I think that weather.com or noaa.gov have historical weather data.

we have this wonderful thing that happens in may. . . MAY GREY and in June we get JUNE GLOOM. . . if you plan to swim in the ocean in april it will still be pretty chilly. . . I don't start heading to the beach until late may. . .
