San Diego Beaches and Dining for Families?

Hi All,

Our group of 6 Adults and 5 kids under the age of 5 will be in San Diego Feb 1 & 2. We will be doing Seaworld and the Zoo and would also like to let the kids frolic at the beach one afternoon. We know it won't be summerlike but they can still get their toes wet.

I'm needing suggestions for a close, nice, safe, clean beach in San Diego as well as family friendly dining in the area.

We enjoy going to the beach at the Hotel Del Coronado.

Where are you staying in San Diego? There are miles and miles of beaches and want to know if you want one near Sea World or near your resort.

We are staying at the Days Inn Hotel Circle.

Mission Beach is a good place to go, it's near Sea World. There's a Tony Roma's up Mission Blvd. near the Pacific Beach Pier. It's pretty family friendly and takes large groups.

Mission Bay, then headed to Fashion Valley Mall for Cheesecake Factory.
