San Angel Inn?

Probably my favorite restaurant anywhere. It is my only 'must do' for a WDW trip.

Live music, great atmosphere, great drinks, friendly staff and I love the food.

Complaints?
Tables are a little close, but once you are seated, it doesn't matter.
A little dark but I think it adds to the atmosphere and wouldn't change it if I could.
Kid food...I have the fussiest kids in the world. But they still like the chips and salsa. So the adults eat the food they like then we get the kids pizza in Futureworld afterwards. The kids enjoy the snacking and the atmosphere.

To answer the question about kids ... you see lots of families there. Wouldn't hesitate to take children that know how to behave at a restaurant! LOL.

Doesn't matter if you are at McDonald's or the San Angel Inn ... misbehaving children are not appreciated!

Seriously though, kids are welcome at San Angel Inn.

My DH and I ate there last July and we loved it! The atmosphere really is amazing and we really enjoyed the food. I had the pollo a las rajas and my DH had the mole poblano. Both were excellent! It does help going in knowing that it's traditional Mexican food and not what we Americans are used to, ie tacos, enchiladas, and burritos!

We ate at the San Angel Inn just over a week ago. Our family of five ate here for the first time in March 2009. We loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the food. We liked the restaurant so much that we decided to take my parents on our most recent trip.

We all had at wonderful time at the San Angel Inn. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the ambience at this restaurant. We all liked our food. I had the tortilla soup and the Tostadas appetizer. My DH had the mahi-mahi and thought that it was very good. My parents split the enchiladas. I was thrilled to see changes to the children's menu. The new menu included some more traditional kids fare which was a plus for my really picky eater.

I know that San Angel Inn has had a lot of negative reviews. We have always enjoyed our meals there and we will definitely return.

Its a Family Favorite...we were just there last Sunday for DD's 6th B-day...and we enjoyed it very much, Hubby Loves the food and so do I....Yes the prices are a little on the steep side but what isnt at WDW...The girls like the menu, my oldest loves there kids tacos..And the chips are always a hit...I say try it......Hubby and I shared a Frozen Strawberry Margarita and it was very good......:lovestruc

I was there a month ago -- I've always enjoyed it, but haven't eaten in there in several years. It was as I remember -- GREAT atmosphere and pretty decent food. The mole sauce is outstanding.
