San Angel Inn - seating

We're going here on our next trip and I'm wondering if there is a special area of the restaurant that we should request to sit in. Middle, near the river(?), etc. Thanks for any help!!

My family thinks it's fun to sit near the river and wave to the guest on the Rio Del Tempo boats.

Ask for the secluded table sitting all by itself.

Seriously, be prepared. The tables at San Angel are VERY close together. Tight quarters.

And I agree with pp. The tables by the river are nice, and you don't feel quite so cramped.
