Which would you choose for a complete meal (appy, entree, & dessert)? TIA :flower3:

PS: This is for a Candlelight Processional Package, so we're looking for the best meal overall.

I know this isn't going to be the answer you were looking for, but here it goes anyway. :goodvibes I love Mexican food, it's my favorite kind. That being said, as far as the starter and entree (and the yummy margaritas and unbeatable atmosphere IMO) I would go for San Angel Inn.

Now we get to one of the most important parts of the meal...the dessert. I have had the flan at the San Angel Inn and it wasn't spectacular at all, in fact I didn't even finish it. The other two desserts on the menu didn't interest me because they both had raisins.

Alternatively, at the Rose & Crown I was not overly impressed with the starter or the entree selections (especially the Fish & Chips which you can get at the CS location outside), but the dessert was very good, much better than San Angel. DH had some sort of trifle and I had an apple cobbler type of dessert, both very tasty!

Good luck!:thumbsup2

How funny that you put it that way. That's exactly what I was thinking. I guess we'll have to decide what course we care most about. We have eaten at SAI & enjoyed our meal. We haven't eaten at R&C though.

I'd suggest R&C. The food at SAI is just overpriced Mexican food. Although I love Mexican food, you can get it anywhere at a better price. The Rose and Crown has a variety of foods. The Shepard's Pie is amazing. And the Cheese & Fruit tray is a great appetizer.

For a complete meal? Neither as the complete menu doesnt appeal to us....I would go to Tutto Italia instead.

We did go to SAI for lunch last month and the food and atmosphere was just terrific!

Thanks to both of you for your input. :)

Unfortunately, SAI or R&C were all we could get (or that we'd consider) for the CP Package. All the Tier 3 restaurants, except for Tokyo Dining, are full, & have been for awhile. It seems that noone's cancelling. I should know. I call once or twice daily. :p The Tier 3 restaurants are a great deal on DDP, which undoubtedly adds to their being full & staying that way.

The food at SAI isn't knock your socks off amazing, but it is good and the atomosphere is awesome. I had the flan and it was okay, but dh had white chocolate mousse with fresh fruit and it was wonderful.

Sorry, it took me so long to see your post. We've decided on SAI, & I'll definitely be ordering the mousse. :thumbsup2
