San Angel Closing?

I read somewhere that San Angel is closing? Is this permanenet? We always loved the atmosphere there and the Margueritas.

I hope not!!! We have been dying to try this place out and I was going to make ADR's for our upcoming September trip.

I don't think they are closing permanently. At one point, they were scheduled to be temporarily closed for rehab in May but I think that has been postponed because I was able to get an ADR.

I called Disney last Friday to ask if the restaurant was closing for renovation, because I have reservations for the period when it is rumored to be closed. They told me they are doing a partial renovation and the restaurant will remain open. They are blocking off some of the seating area, so there will be fewer tables available, but they will not be closed.

When I spoke to the CM, I didn't ask about the date. But the rumors are that the renovation starts on May 16. But since the rumor about the restaurant closing was inaccurate, so don't know how much faith to put in the rumored date.
