Samsung Galaxy II in USA

hey all, me and my wife are heading off to the usa on the 23rd oct. We both have samsung galaxys 2. Ive been to the states many times but its the first time im taking my phone instead of getting a phone card. Were both on Virgin Mobile in Oz. Just wanna see if people have had any dramas with SGII over there and is T - Mobile on travelgear the best deal. Thanks guys so excited

Hi there, I am in Orlando at the moment and I have a T-mobile sim card in my Samsung Galaxy 2 which I bought from Travelgear.com.au and it is all working perfectly We got the unlimited talk/text/web option with the extra $10 for international texts and calls. Hope that helps

hey thanks for that info. We are doing las vegas first 23 - 28 oct then flying down to orlando from 28/10 till 08/10 , staying at port orleans riverside for 8 nights then going down to hojos on int;l drive

this may sound like a silly question. Im on travelgear right now. I obviously purchase the t mobile sim card with the unlimited talk, text and web with int'l add on feature which costs 29 dollars. Then do i just buy a top up voucher ?

We got ours from travelgear.com.au, it was about $30 just for the sim, and you had to buy $60 worth pf credit, which they give you vouchers for with a code on them. We left it a bit late to order so paid extra for express post. So all up it cost around $100.
