Sam's Club and gift cards

I went to Sam's club yesterday and we going to buy more Disney Gift Cards. I couldn't find them so I asked and was told that Sam's club is doing away with all gift cards except itunes. So if your club still has them go and grab them up.

I hope that's not true! I will check with my Sam's ASAP! There are at least 30+ cards there...

EDIT: I checked today and there were at least 20 cards there (for Disney) and lots of others, including Mastercard, phone cards, etc.

I don't know..but I do know our club had a lot of gift cards at Christmas, so hopefully they will at least have them then...some gave you a few dollars extra free.

I think it was because the cards are a seasonal thing, they do not stock them. But, they make a killing on gift cards during the holidays. How many people give the employees or family a gift card.

I am hitting my local one tomorrow, I never thought they might has some left until reading recently.

I know some gift cards lose value if they're not used for 12 months. Anyone know if this is true for the Disney cards?

I went to the Linden one and then called the Edison one. They both said they did away with them. Let me know if you find any in NJ I will drive to get them.

No, Disney gift cards do not lose value nor do they ever expire, that is one reason they are so popular.

Our Sams' only has iTunes card through out the year, except during Nov/Dec for Christmas. They did leave out what they had until they were all gone, but there are no more. I think they change from year to year.

I went to Sam's today and their whole rack of gift cards was back out again. Fully stocked with all cards including Disney. I asked about it and was told that because of the economy they were putting ot the Christmas gift cards early to allow people to spread out their spending. And then I bought 2. Happy Shopping Everyone!

I bought eleven of these at the end of July/beginning of August at Sam's. I received $110 in Disney Store gift cards (yay!). All of the Disney gift cards had Christmas scenes on them so I am guessing they were left over from last Christmas.
