Does anyone have any sample itenary plans for Magic Kingdom? we are spending 3 days there with a 4 and a 6 year old and most plans I see in books and online have you going from one side of the park to the other.

I was happy with the ones at touringplans.com.

When you say "going from one side of the park to the other," do you mean crossing the park between attractions? Or do you mean staring at one side and working your way across?

One very simple and, I've found, effective way to tour the MK is to go straight to Space Mountain and then work your way around counter-clockwise. It's not perfect, and Fastpass return times may complicate things, but I like it.

I mean just doing a few sections a day, trying not to go from space mountain to big thunder mountain.

FASTPASS Priority:
1. Peter Pan’s Flight
2. Space Mountain
3. Splash Mountain (when high temperatures are 80+ degrees)
4. Princesses at Town Square Theater
5. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
6. Splash Mountain (when high temperatures are less than 80 degrees)
7. Journey of the Little Mermaid
8. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
9. Barnstormer
10. Jungle Cruise
11. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
12. Dumbo
13. Mickey Mouse at Town Square

Ideal Two-Day Morning Plan Day 1:
1. Enchanted Tales with Belle: 9am – 9:30am
2. Journey of the Little Mermaid: 9:35am – 9:45am
3. Ariel’s Grotto: 9:47am – 9:55am
4. Ride Peter Pan’s Flight: 10am – 10:15am
5. (Collect FASTPASSes for Big Thunder or Splash Mountain if desired)
6. Ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 10:25am – 10:40am
7. Ride Splash Mountain: 10:45am – 11:15am
8. (Ride Big Thunder or Splash Mountain again with FASTPASS if desired)
9. Collect FASTPASSes for Jungle Cruise– Return time of 12:10pm – 1:10pm
10. Have lunch. Pecos Bill, Tortuga Tavern, and Liberty Tree Tavern are nearby.
11. Ride Jungle Cruise with FASTPASS after lunch
12. Ride Pirates of the Caribbean
Afternoon and Evening: Most people will want to take an afternoon break at some point when
crowds and temperatures peak, depending on time of year and closing time. Otherwise, visit the
anytime attractions like Country Bears Jamboree, Swiss Family Robinson, Enchanted Tiki
Room, Liberty Square Riverboat, and the Hall of Presidents. If you’re returning after a break,
enjoy dinner, additional attractions, and the nighttime entertainment.

Ideal Two-Day Morning Plan Day 2:
1. Ride Astro Orbiter: 9am – 9:15am
2. Ride Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 9:17am – 9:25am
3. Ride Space Mountain: 9:30am – 9:50am
4. (Ride Tomorrowland Indy Speedway if desired)
5. Ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 9:55am – 10:10am
6. Ride The Barnstormer: 10:15am – 10:25am
7. Ride Dumbo The Flying Elephant: 10:27am – 10:40am
8. (Visit Pete’s Silly Sideshow for Goofy/Donald and/or Daisy/Minnie if desired)
9. Ride Mad Tea Party: 10:43am – 10:50am
10. Ride Haunted Mansion: 11am – 11:20am
11. Ride it’s a small world: 11:23am – 11:40am
12. Have lunch. Columbia Harbour House and Pinocchio Village Haus are nearby. For Be
Our Guest lunch, grab snacks and get in line at 2pm.
Afternoon and Evening: Consider another afternoon break. Visit the anytime attractions in
Fantasyland and Tomorrowland – Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Prince Regal Carousel, Stitch’s Great
Escape, Mosnters Inc. Laugh Floor, PeopleMover, and Carousel of Progress are all good choices.
Crowds also diminish in the evening. If Magic Kingdom is open past 9pm, crowds will be lower
each hour after. Return to Tomorrowland with two hours to close and Fantasyland in the last
hour to experience much shorter waits than the afternoon.
