I'm not sure if you can see the lagoon or castle from Samoa, but the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms on the volcano pool side are good water view and priced at garden view.
You can see the lagoon looking toward the GF and I am told that if you are in the last room toward Hawaii and you lean around the side of the balcony you can see the fireworks but I myself have not been in that room to tell you just how much of it you can see. It does not sound like it is easily viewed from the room and since the second floor does not have a balcony to lean out on I would guess that the second floor room on the end does not have anyway of seeing the castle and fireworks.
There are some rooms in Tokelau that see the castle and fireworks. The rooms that are on the beach end facing Hawaii longhouse have a view toward the side of the castle and fireworks down most that side of the building.
We could also see Wishes from the edge of our first floor lanai in Samoa last month but I don't think we could see the castle. Wishes was only partially in view so it was lots better to walk out to the beach....all of about 40 seconds and we were in the room closest to GCH not the beach.
I thought I replied to this, but I guess not. We were in 3604 and had pretty much the same view of the castle when we stretched. I dont remember the tree though.
