Same resort, different use year and booking

Technical (ish) question.

Assuming I have a contract for SSR for use year June. Assume I have a contract for SSR use year December.

Assume I want to travel in January and want to book 2 weeks.

I the memberships are considered individual but I can transfer points between memberships, but those points retain their original use year.

Now I get if I want to book more than a week, I then have to call each day to add on the booking (after the 1st week) 11 months out for home resort.

BUT the question is this - could I book say 1st Jan full week 11 months out for SSRfor June use year and 8th Jan full week with December use year 11 months out.

I get they would be 2 bookings and may need to move rooms, but surely it would save transferring points and then calling each day for reservation on day 8,9,10,11,12,13,14

Have I got that right I could book the entire week for each contract 11 months out at the same resort?

Don't transfer the points to make that 2 week reservation. It means that you will have to call MS to use them.

Both contracts have the ability to book SSR at 11 months. Use year has nothing to do with the booking window (when you can book). You already know that using the contracts separately means separate booking windows.

You only need to transfer if you need points from both contracts to book a single night.

If you book two separate reservations, just notify MS to add "Continuing Reservation" on both of them so the Room Assigner knows you'd like to stay in the same villa.

Does the same apply for change in resorts? Or do you tell them at the front desk when you check in so they can transfer your bags on check out day?

It is not needed for a split stay as you are changing rooms anyway. To have your bags transferred, just bring to bell services...or call to have them get the,...then tell them that you need them transferred to the new resort,

They usually get there sometime between 3 and 6 pm.
