Sooooo I am clarifying here....no matter what day you go to Universal it is an EE? If you are not staying on site there are people an hour ahead of you. We are going week of May 17 thru 24 the. Trying to stay away from Friday, school kids.... Saturday, probably busy.So I thought Sunday might do it? We are doing 2 Parks 1 day ticket with our 11year old Harry Potter fan grandson. His wish, like a million other kids is getting that wand. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Every single day, at least one of the Universal parks has EE for onsite guests.

You can buy the wand online
You don't have to wait to be in the park to buy one

Maybe you can start at the park that doesn't have EE that day.

EE shouldn't have any effect on you purchasing a wand for him. You don't need to do the wand show but it is a ton of fun. He might not be the one chosen at the show anyways and you'll just have to get a wand at the shop.
