Does anyone know why someone went to each thread and started some post about signing up to get a $500 Disney Gift Card? It sounds like a scam but I am wondering why anyone would take the time to go to each thread category and post the same thing? Weird.

I reported it as SPAM, because a post that's only purpose is to send readers to some off-site contest site IS SPAM, by definition.

Because it's spam and that person is making money by directing people to that site.
