Is there any possibility of being able to get a ticket to any park on a day that is currently unavailable by doing something dumb like showing up at a ticket window that morning? I’m going to be in Orlando this Sunday 11/21 and would love to spend the day at any park but MK but all park reservations are gone. Just wondering if I would have any shot with a desperate move like just going to a park that day to try and buy a ticket.

I just looked now and on the Park Reservation Calendar, AK is showing availability today. When I looked last evening it was full. There is a chance something may open tomorrow too.

I still don’t see anything. To be clear it don’t have an annual pass or tickets, so I can’t even buy a ticket right now :(. I’m going to keep checking though!

Tickets are not park-specific, but you need a park reservation to enter. So you can probably buy a ticket unless all 4 parks have no reservations, but that won’t necessarily allow you entry to your park of choice. A ticket is required to make a park reservation but you can check availability without a ticket. Keep watching that. Good luck.

If at least 1 park has a reservation available, you could buy a Hopper ticket and reserve what is available. You must tap in at the reserved park, but probably can hop to a different park at 2pm. Hopping is subject to capacity limits but not limited to theme park reservation availability; since returning, hopping has only been closed at one park on one afternoon (MK 10/1). The hopper won’t guarantee you can go to your park of choice but it opens the possibility.

I just looked again and can still see this:

At midnight last night today was gray with no availability in any parks. Today it is showing their may be availability at AK. Note: This calendar is not update real-time so you would need to try to purchase a ticket and make a reservation in order to go to a park today. If in reality there is no availability in any park, you will not be allowed to purchase a ticket.

Unfortunately this is an extremely busy week at WDW so purchasing last minute is proving challenging and sometimes impossible. The best suggestion I can offer is to just keep trying today and tomorrow.

Just to let you know what happened, I was able to get into EPCOT today with a park hopper ticket and spent a little time at Hollywood Studios in the afternoon. I tried parking at Hollywood Studios first, but the parking attendant told me that EPCOT was the only available park. So I went over there (one of the first cars to get in the parking lot because I was there super early) and they said there were park reservations available for "day guests." They did ask if I was an annual passholder, and I guess the fact that I was not was what let me in. So, there you go. I had a nice day exploring EP and HS solo.

We had annual passes and had not made the park reservation. They went ahead and added us at the gate. Good luck!

I hadn’t considered that one can’t even park without a valid reservation. Interesting.
Glad it worked out!
