Same Day Reentry

I am curious, when the parks reach capacity and they close them are you garenteed same - day re-entery? Is it only to the park that you were originally in or came you re-enter either park?
How about visiting Disneyland in the hours before DCA opens and switching to DCA, which park are able to reenter both? or which one are you able to re enter.

I am not sure if the park will reach these levels when we are there Thanksgiving weekend but I just wanted to be prepared, just in case..

chances are they won't reach capacity at thanksgiving (although they'll probably be extremely crowded). I know that you used to be able to get back in as long as you had a handstamp. I don't know about the park hopping stuff though. I'd ask to be sure. DCA has a lower capacity level than DL, but in the past DL always has more crowds. Last year the week between christmas and new years at least two days (and I think most of the week) by noon they were only letting in people who already had tickets (either hoppers, one day, or APs), but not selling any new tickets. Also since last year they've changed the parking policy for APs. You can only park in the parking struture, if that fills up then you have to pay to park in an overflow lot. I know for me unless there was some reason I really wanted to go (like for new year's eve or something) I wouldn't pay the parking.
