I see that Regal Eagle and Spice Road Table have same day dining packages available. Anyone with experience with this? Like should we go when the restaurant first opens and ask to purchase these fixed price meals? Are all three shows generally available or just the 8:30 one? Any idea how quickly they run out?

You pick any show..at least last time. Some shows sell out quick. It will depend on the narrator. How important is it to you? Thats what should drive your plans. For me, had I not got the package (JOSH GAD!) I would have been standing outside the restaurant before they opened. *** side note be prepared to eat at the time of purchase.

That sort of answers another of my questions. Since you got Josh Gad who narrates beginning 12/10, it looks like these are available at 60+ for those with resort reservations, not just 60 days.

We've done the Regal Eagle package for the Broadway shows during FotA and for Eat to the Beat just last week. For those shows, we were able to arrive around noon and still get our choice of shows. As PP noted, if you are trying for a show with a very, popular narrator, I would prepare to be at the restaurant at opening or shortly before to get one of the shows (you may want to have a first, second and third choice if your preferred time sells out). As PP noted, you will order your meal when you arrive, so make sure you are hungry. I love the Regal Eagle package - it's the most cost effective way to get preferred seating and I think the food is very good. Depending on what you order (higher priced entree, for instance), it's a pretty good deal, IMHO. The preferred seating is so good.

Thanks. I'm arriving on Dec 11 and only have one Epcot day Dec 12 so may end up doing this.

I would have preferred the walk up package price/flexibility wise but it is just toooo important to me to see Josh Gad in person and didnt want to risk it leaving it to day of unless I had no other option. **Another consideration if you are a park hopper To be at the walk up location at open you basically commit to epcot for the entire day. You can start elsewhere and hop to Epcot for the evenings events, and the night I got a package is also extended hours evening so thats a long day...not impossible but not my first choice.

Yeah, I'm only going to be there Dec 11 for MVMCP and the 12th for Epcot, flying home Dec 13. Getting my holiday fix at Universal first and then Disney.

I posted in the another thread but we did regal eagle today. We hung out by RE tables at 10:30 and one other family was there. Others started coming by so we got nervous and started a line by the door against the wall at 10:58. CMs said 11:45 opening when asked earlier. A few others lined up behind me and by the time they let us in at 11:29 there were maybe a dozen people mostly in parties of 2 behind me. They came and counted us at 11:25 but made no comment so I assumed that meant there were enough tickets for us all, as they asked if we were all there for tickets. They had us go to a different register than the few that were there just for food. We left at 12:10 and the sign out front still said limited availability for all 3 shows. You tell them which show you want at the register. I imagine they flip the sign out front to sold out but I never went back to check. For someone like NPH I imagine pickings are slim as it’s just leftover tickets that didn’t sell in packages, from my understanding. But today I think we would have been fine going at noon. We didn’t want to risk it though, based on the limited tickets someone mentioned in the other thread for the first day!
