Ink and I were just watching Samantha Brown's new show called Seasons of Disney- Samantha Brown's Favorite Disney Things


Well it was a good show. Then she got to her favorite parade. Her comment on the Parade of Dreams was

"this parade was created to celebrate Disneyland's 50th Anniversary but was so highly successful that they decided to keep it"

Ink and I looked at each and said OMG Like VMK

Thought you all might find her comment interesting.

Yep yep. There's still a lot of 50th stuff going on at Disneyland, that included. I wish they would change the First 50 Years show back to Mr. Lincoln already though.

wow good find. Disney are hypocrites, because anyone remember how the 25th Birthday of WDW was extended? The 50th was extended, the Year of a Million Dreams extended, parades intended for a "limited time" get extended and more. So why not drop the 50th promo charade about VMK and keep it.

The reason is because they are using the 50th as an EXCUSE. I can pretty much guarentee that this is NOT the reason VMK is closing.
I am pretty sure either Disney didn't want to dish out anymore $$ to Sulake OR Sulake and Disney had a falling out.

They can use the 50th excuse all they want...it isn't true
