So.... after we cut the cake it was time for some dancing so my brother and I took to the dance floor for our dance together. We had chosen Its a Kind of Hush and we had a really great dance together which we both found agony (because of emotions LOL) and fun but wed given Richie the nod of when to fade out the music. Then he started up his sounds and then we all danced pretty much the whole time. Only leaving the dance floor to go eat dessert of wedding cake, our layers were :
Bottom Layer - yellow sponge with white chocolate mousse and raspberry filling
<img width=450 src="http://img41.photobucket.com/albums/v126/SamByrne/ABC/Meal4a.jpg">
Middle Layer - chocolate sponge and dark choccy mousse with raspberries
Top Layer - yellow sponge with white chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries.
Paul and I managed to share a slice of both the bottom and middle layer.
At 3.30pm Mickey and Minnie came into the room and the crowd went wild apart from our family all the rest of the wedding guests were hardened Disney visitors and so M&M were a big hit and they even won our respective families over. Paul and I danced with them for the whole time that they were with us LOL I think we wore each other out. What I hadnt told Paul in fact I had managed to keep this quiet a big secret was that I had also arranged for Chip`n`Dale to come. We were just having some shots with M&M when CnD were announced and Paul looked at me and said whats going on? I gave him a huge kiss and told him I had organized them as a wedding gift surprise. So we had some group pictures taken before M& M left and then we partied on with CnD I have to say I was totally knackered but we felt duty bound to dance with chipmunks. I think I managed some water and a brief sit down. After 25 mins or so of dancing CnD left us.
I then presented my bouquet to my girlfriend Dayna for being so special and looking after me. Then it was time to toss the bouquet Shania sounding out from the speakers, I got ALL the women to the floor with promises of Disney Vow Renewals for those that were married. This was so much fun I threw the bouquet as long and high as I could after getting tips from Randy. Turns out my girlfriend Rachael managed to fight off all the other contenders and reached hard for it. I couldnt have been happier as she is getting married in Disneyland in February 2005.
So then us women took to the floor and such a scream dancing to Shania then we had a conga line to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, which was a blast and then we shook our booties to Beyonce fabulous, fabulous, fabulous

Still time was moving on and it was now time for the wind down Paul and I were called to the dance floor for our last dance to Kiss the Girl and we had asked Richie to make sure that all the guests came to the floor, he also promised us that he would not leave us dancing alone for long. He kept to his promise and I dont know what he did but he managed to get people dancing I never knew could dance. It was a wonderful ending to a fabarooney reception.
At the end I let everyone know that they could take any of the table centerpieces etc. Richie announced what time everyone should meet later and where. Tracy had already taken all of our stuff and more up to our room, bless him. We said our thank yous and goodbyes to the staff and Richie.
Then the family and us had decided to have drinks in Marthas Vineyard but there didnt seem to be any staff I was starting to flag so Paul decided to take me up to the room for a rest. My family went off to change at their resort and Im not really sure what Pauls family did find a place for a drink I think.
Paul and I went back to the room and we walked into find the bed had been scattered with rose petals and shells it looked so pretty and I kick myself that I never got a picture. Mandy and Vicky had pleaded with Tracy to do this as its a big tradition in the UK to decorate the bed of the Bride and Groom if anyone can get a key to their room that is. On the writing table was a bottle of Fairytale Cuvee with some beautiful Mickey Mouse icon champagne flutes this was a lovely wedding present from a dear friend who I had met on the internet whilst planning our wedding, we were so touched.
The first thing I did was take off my dress and my killer Basque. It turned out that the rock chips on the dress had been rubbing me and a little part of my back had been rubbed blood raw so I got Paul to apply a fresh see through blister plaster to it so it wouldnt show later. We sat and read our wedding cards together before freshening up and getting my dress back on and then heading on back downstairs. We found Stephen and the kids in the Ale and Compass Bar they had brought clothes over with them to change into so they went up to our room to change. We sat around and chatted then Mandy and Vicky showed up having been back to their villa and changed and then David, Liane and the boys showed up. We all drank and chatted for a while and then it was time to walk to the International Gateway.
So we took a slow walk along and I loved being in my wedding dress with everyone walking past us and congratulating us it was a lovely feeling. We got to the International Gateway and our host was already waiting for us. So Paul and those with passes went on in to the park to meet up with those who had already gone in. I stayed outside and waited for any that didnt have tickets. LOL what I should have done was put together a list of those that I was waiting for and those that Paul was waiting for. I only had 5 that didnt have park admission and they were all with us but I wasnt sure if Paul had everyone. So they did another line up and shouted out a number it sounded good so in the rest of us went.

Our host took us over to the UK and there we met with Tracy, Randy and Stan. Tracy couldnt stay long as he had to prepare for another wedding the next day which I completely understood and gave him a massive hug and told him how I would be seeing him next time I was in town.
One of my friends Jody had her mum, SIL and niece also staying with her whilst she was in WDW so they also came along to the Dessert Party and Jillian had been dressed in an Ariel outfit and she looked so cute and she spent lots of time with me because I looked like a princess.

The desserts were gorgeous, we had decided on miniatures around the world and supplemented some at an extra cost for Tuxedo Strawberries they were delish my other favourite were the mini éclairs they were very yummy scrummy in my tummy. LOL we were worried that there wasnt enough to feed the troops but I believe that there was still some left at the end. Paul and I managed to work our way around our guests and spend time with them all usually me with Jillian at my side. Then Randy and Stan came over to us to give us our Illuminations Pep Talk i.e. you guys have seen these fireworks many times before right ? So we need you to work it for the cameras which we had no problem doing and again we got some great shots. So many from Randy in fact that when our proofs were ready he told us that we really didnt need to have had Stan as we could just put all his pics together and fan them so that wed get a moving image !!
In December some of our wedding guests and I had had a private dessert party in the Upper UK Terrace and it was wonderful but we all agreed that the UK Lower had been a most awesome view wed seen the Illuminations from. It was just perfect. Illuminations over we were saying our goodbyes to everyone one by one as they left. Our families stayed with us until the last guest had left and then we slowly made our way out of the park. The CMs congratulated us as we left and we walked slowly back to the Yacht Club. By now my feet were saying theyd had enough and wanted to go to bed I felt I could drop any second. We got to the lobby, said our goodbyes and went to our room. We tidied everything up in the room and then Paul set to work taking all the pins and grips out of my hair then we got ready for bed and sat on the bed eating left over wedding cake this time our top layer of white choccy mousse and strawberries before falling into bed.
Day after to follow .... HERE
