I was thinking of going to Sams club and buying up some Disney gift card. Only problem is i am not a member. So I can print out a free one day pass of off the net. They will charge you an extra 10 percent service fee on your purchases. I was just wondering if they would do that with gift card purchases as well.

I thought I saw a post on here last night that Target is now selling Disney gift cards - maybe your target will have them and you can save the 10%.

I don't know why gift cards would be any kind of exception to the policy.

Walgreens also sells the Disney gift cards. No need to go to Sam's and pay the upcharge.

I think the OP wants to go to Sam's because I read a thread recently about Sam's having some kind of special deal on Disney gift cards...something to the effect of $10 added onto $100 card or a $100 card for $90.

That is correct, but those additional gift cards they are giving out (that's how it works - you buy $xx dollar gift card and you get another gift card for $xx from what I have read here) aren't good at DisneyWorld, either. They are good at Disney stores, though, not sure where else. I'm guessing the upcharge for non-members would probably negate whatever extra value they are offering for the gift card purchase.

The bonus disney shopping cards offer was a holiday promo. My local sam's no longer has them on display, so I am not sure if those are even available anymore. As a PP mentioned, those bonus $10 cards were for use at the disney stores or at disneyshopping.com. They were not valid at WDW or DL. They were attached to $100 Disney Gift Cards that are valid at the resorts, stores, cruiseline, etc. My family got 4 of them for our Christmas presents from my DM.

I will be going to our local Sam's Club later today or tomorrow. Will report back if they are still available there.

They still have them on display at our Sams, so what is the deal?

I shop often at Sams, if I buy the $100 GC, then I also get a$10 free?

We could use the $110 at any Disney Store in the World? Can they be used for Disney Restaurants?

Thanks!

YOU buy 100.00 card for 89.99 or some such number and get the 100.00 GC that is good anywhere the mouse travels ( DL,DCL, WDW) and get a 10.00 gc that is good only at disney stores located in malls and disneyshopping.com. NOT GOOD AT WOD in DTD

Your 100.00 card is good in rest to pay bill.

Went to our Sam's yesterday and she stated they were gone before the Christmas holiday was over. Currently they only have Outback Steakhouse with the same deal, spend $100, get $10.

I am sure it depends on supply and demand in your area.
