I read your opinion about Gay Days at Disney and just want to say THANK YOU! Great job voicing your opinion about this! I couldn't agree more! I am not gay, but I have heard a few of my friends who have gone with the family just as you described and found out the hard way that this was going on and they checked out (not wanting to explain to their 4 daughters what is going on) and left. I hope poeple read that and are not offended, but simply thinks about your message. Thanks

I totally agree. I forwarded it to a friend of mine who is gay and he also said that he agreed with him 100%.

After reading the article I just have to say:
THANK YOU!!!THANK YOU, PETE!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

Disney is a place where reality is suspended, at least for a time. It’s not a place for anyone’s political agenda – right or left. Keep Key West in Key West – and let Disney be Disney.
Thank you, Pete! I wish that we could put this article on the cover of all of the magazines and papers!

I also really liked the part about hard ticket events. :sunny:

I read your article on Sunday with my husband and we both felt that you wrote an excellant article and we agree with you 110%! Some couples just need to "get a room", regardless of their sexual orientation!! You said it perfectly when you said that there is a time and a place for such things and that WDW is neither.

You should be proud of what you have written....it was a great article. :grouphug:

Pete, you are a man of integrity, honor and courage. Thank you for writing that article.

Go, Pete! Disney World is not about sex or sexual orientation, yet that's just what many people are trying to make it on Gay Days.

True, True, and after what I saw at spring break there are some straight young adults that need to do the same thing.

Wonderful article. THank you for having the courage to write it.

I, too, agree with this completely. Once while visiting one of the parks there was a young couple (boy/girl) that were about 15 or so. They were standing in line in front of us and the only thing that was keeping them from doing the "act" was the fact that they were still clothed. It made me very uncomfortable as my two kids were watching. I would have felt this way regardless of the gender of the participants...some things should be done in private.

I have been on this site since it was a "toddler" and have always thought highly of Pete and his convictions. Once again he has held true to himself and had the courage to voice his opinions (and those of many of us) regardless of what others may say or think. Thank you Pete...you are a gem!
:cheer2:

Great article!

I don't care who you are, what you believe in or your preferences, just be mindful of people around you... "Do unto others" ... still the golden rule.
