Salute tickets and Hurricane

We have five day Military Salute tickets. We were at Disney Sept 24 and were planning to stay through the 1st. On our first day there, we had to leave due to a family emergency. We were going to come back to finish the rest of our stay, but decided to not go back due to the hurricane and Disney closing. We have four days left on our salute tickets, but they expire Dec 22 2022 due to the Salute expiration.

Does anyone know if Disney will still let us use these salute tickets through Sept 2023, or do we need to pay the difference for 2023 military salute tickets.
