I have no clue where to post this.

I’ve taken DD to Bippity Boppity Boutique and although it was a fun experience, I really don’t care for the way they did her hair. Have any of you taken a child off property to a salon to get your child’s hair done? Our DD will be almost 7 and will want either a pretty up do or spiral curls. I have very short hair and haven’t a clue what to with long hair so I can’t style it myself. We are getting it done for Cinderella’s Royal Table. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'll tell you right off that we have two adult sons and never were in any of the B. B. Boutique locations, although we saw lots of little girls who'd had the treatment.
However, I did a quick google for beauty salons in the Disney park area and found not much that would work for a 7 year old.
There are apparently salons at the Grand Floridian, the Beach Club, Coronado Springs and the Contemporary.
That said, the couple prices that were quoted (on an old thread here on the Dis) were very expensive and I'm sure they've gone up. That question was posted by someone getting married and going on a cruise and wanting a haircut.
You might try to do such a search yourself. I didn't find anything that I would consider a "local" business, but maybe someone who lives in the Disney area knows of a place close by.

Lots of folks just put their DD's hair up and then curl it. Why not pick up a spiral curling iron and practice at home?

Your DD will love that. My DD is 14 with long thick hair and I have short fine hair so learning how to do her hair pretty was a struggle.

I found the spiral curling iron to work great but it would take a good 2 hours to do on all of my DD's hair so we found that by putting her hair up in a pony tail on the top of her head and just spiral curling the ends worked well and cut the time down to an hour.

Good luck.
