Sales tax rate for ASMo?

I read somewhere that the tax rate at this resort is higher than the rest because it's in another county??? Can anyone tell me what it is? I'm thinking of splitting our stay between ASMo and CSR, but would like to know how much more the tax is going to be before I decide I want to stay at ASMo!

It's 13.5% at all of the All Star Resorts.

In comparison, I think it is only .5% higher between the two counties. So that would be an extra 50 cents for every 100 dollars you spend. While annoying it really shouldn't break the bank.

The rates do not include the resort tax. It is 13.5% at the All Star Resorts and 12.5% at the Pop Century Resort

Keep in the resort tax is a tax on hotel rooms.

The Florida sales tax for gifts and goods is 6%.

I switched our four night stay from All Star to Pop Century and I think the difference in total price was about 70 cents. It is not that big of a difference to influence your resort decision.

I agree.
1 penny more for every $100 dollars spent.
Even if you stay 10 nights you would not save
enough money for 1 Mickey bar!
