sales tax on food

We are on the dining plan and I am just working out our best bets for food.

I know they add 18% for tip but what is the sales tax rate?

Last time we were there, the sales tax was 6.5%. I think that is still the rate.

The DDP covers everything. We sometimes do leave an additional tip if the service was especially good.

My Katie is 8 and thinks she is 18. They grow up so fast!!

I think the OP was asking so they could add up what they would spend OOP (including tax) vs DDP. We tried it on our '05 trip- it's great to have everything covered. We did add a few $$ for extra tips, too.
