We are contemplating purchasing an add on during an upcoming trip and I’m wondering how much time I need to block out for the presentation and potential purchasing time. Any current owners have recent experience with the trip to Saratoga, presentation, etc? I assume they don’t have to spend as much time with us but maybe that’s incorrect?

They don't go through the whole program for you. You can tour the models if you want but they'll ask what you are looking for and look for those points or give you the current incentives on the current properties. Then it's up to you to buy it not. The paperwork process remains the same. This was our experience adding on at CCV.

If your doing the Riveria member presentation it takes about 30 minutes. They do this at 2 and 3 pm during the week. Then they need to get you a guide. Not sure how long the paperwork part takes. It should not take long, since you are a member let’s say 30-40 min. If your doing a regular presentation, not the member Riveria, it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

We opted to do the "full tour" because we had never done it, and DH wanted an opportunity to ask lots and lots of questions. We were there for 3 hours... :crazy2:

Signs Law School was not going to work out for me... During SB of my first year, DW and I went on vacation in the Florida Keys and were going parasailing. Naturally, we had to sign a waiver. Being the law student, DW asked me if we should read the waiver before we signed it. I asked if there was anything that it could say that would change her mind to go. We signed and had a great time. Law school and I parted ways not long after and I went to business school instead. :)

Funny thing is, my DH is not a lawyer. (But he's married to one...)
