Sale and points question

Did not know where to pose this question so i put it here. I am really going to be interested in the cr (blt, kingdom tower or what ever, and am thinking about resale of my ssr and using the money to buy into cr dvc when announced and my fear is i don't want to sell my ssr until i know i can get the cr, i go about every 2yrs and wonder if i just keep what i have and try for 7 month window. as it stands now i will have like 480 stashed enough for at least a 2bdr in 2010 when dgd turns 5. help to sell or not to sell that is the question.

I'll assume you will have 480 points to use and not 480 points a year. I wouldn't sell at this point. There are too many variables, and if you have any flexibility in your schedule, you should be able to book at the 7 month window while the construction is going on. The last I looked, there were a lot of SSR points on the market, so the demand may not be there (it may never be there for that matter, but I wouldn't say), but since we're not talking about years or anything other than location, I'd hang on to my points at SSR until there is more to go on.

T ::cop: hanks, yes i did mean 480 points to use. we will take breaks during the day dw and i always do but even with that dgd will be worn out at end of day want to stay as close as possible. I am a vet and we usually stay at sog, but climbing that ramp every day in the sun or warm weather takes its toll. so thats why looking so hard at cr dvc. I really like sog but wanted something different this time. Bcb was sec choice.

until BLT is up and runing it might be very popular (I think so) or not so.

remember after july 19 - the mk resorts go to value season.

I know the points won't for BLT - but it's popularity might be similiar.

you might be able to get BLT or at least VWL when you need it.
