Hey everyone! I was over at my mom's house and was telling her about all the salad dressing questions here about Atkins and I was telling her I don't understand how some of you are eating the dressings you are when there are sugar in the ingredients. I don't mean the natural sugar that may say one or two grams, I mean sugar, fructose, or corn syrup. I'm not sure what's safe to have besides the Paul Newman Oil and Vinegar that I found. Well, my mom pulls out this recipe book and there are some wonderful salad dressings in them with NO sugar!!
Here's one for example:
FRENCH DRESSING:
1/2 Cup oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons cider or wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
dash pepper
Shake all ingredients together in a jar. Makes just over 1/2 cup.
****THANKS TO LAUREL'S KITCHEN RECIPE BOOK****
Doesn't that sound yummy?? If you guys want anymore recipes, I've got about 5 or 6 more. Just let me know.
Take care,
Denise
