I saw that but I don't think we will be going. I think DH would think I lost it if I drove over an hour to meet people I don't know He doesn't get the whole disboard thing. He doesn't even like it when I read other people's TRs.... even unfinished ones

My DH and your DH should get together - they think alike! I just told him that we were going to see the movie and it's a fundraiser for GKTW. Actually, there isn't anyone going that I have "talked" to on the boards - so I won't "know" anyone. I don't think I will go to the bbq afterwards. But I do want to meet the folks from the podcast who are going - just to say hi and thanks for giving me my weekly DIS fix.

We're driving right through Jersey.

Vehicle seats 9...we only got 7. Might be a tight fit in the front with my wife and I...but I think we could squeeze you in.

Either that, or we could rent one of those "tow behind" Uhaul trailers. Tie down a rocking chair inside...you'd be all set!

So excited to say that we will FINALLY be staying at AKL during our upcoming trip! We will be staying for a week and a half at the POP first, but then we will finish our trip with two nights at the AKL.

I posted this question elsewhere, but it seems like this might be a good place to ask. I plan on booking a Savanna view for sure, but what room/building should I request?

I am planning on trying to read through all the posts in this thread to learn as much as I can about how to enjoy our brief but exciting stay.

Congrats on your first stay!!! You'll love it! My fav. area - Arusha Savanna - Zebra Trail, 3rd floor - near lobby.

*** I assume you mean you are at Jambo house and not Kidani?!! *If you are at Kidani then my fav. area is - Sunset Savanna near Community Hall or the Library!!
