Sailing Feb 17th - 20th!

Hi, everyone! There will be 17 of us joining you. My family and a few friends starting sailing Disney together a couple of years ago, and we decided it would be fun to sail together on the Dream when we were sailing last Thanksgiving. We are so excited to sail on the Dream!

In my immediate family, there is me (Susan), DH Brian, DD Brianna (15), and DS Brandon (12). This will be our sixth Disney cruise. We've traveled lots of places, but our kids almost always want to come back for a DCL cruise over everywhere they've been! We'll be sailing with Disney to Alaska next summer, so we're also really excited about that!

Glad to see there is finally a cruise thread started for this cruise. I was beginning to think that my family and friends were going to be the only ones on board.

So excited to welcome you and your family! As you can see our thread is taking off slowly! But with you guys added we are growing quickly! Do you think you will want to do a FE? I have been waiting to order one (we are first time cruisers) One of our other cruisers said she would organize it. Looking forward to a great cruise!

I was wondering do the people from the dis normaly mett some place (on the ship)to say hi and put a face on a name?

People from Dis meet board often meet sometime in the afternoon after boarding, usually it has been in the Promenade Lounge where there are seats, drinks and less chaos. I guess after the first few cruises we'll hear of the best places for a meet on the Dream.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I guess adding our 17 to the cruise increased our number of people significantly. Last time, we had 32 people, so it's actually a much smaller group this time. We will be traveling with two of my sisters and their kids as well as my mom. We'll also have a few friends with their kids as well. It will be the first DCL cruise for one of the families, so they are really looking forward to it! Our kids range in age from six to fifteen. We'll have three six year olds, a seven year old, two twelve year olds, and one fifteen year old. Can't wait to hear from others who are on this cruise. We are going to WDW in a few weeks, but I never get as excited about visiting the parks as I do when we're going on a cruise. Bring on February!

Hi All, I picked up a few things yesterday for the kids FE gifts! And I got new bathing suites for my kids and DH, and new Pjs for me. The suits and pjs will be put away for Christmas. Now Im getting excited!

I ordered my daughter new swim suits today as well. We are heading to WDW in a few weeks so she can wear them while we're there, but I also had this cruise in mind when I ordered.

Summer is just flying by, but I can't wait for February to get here!

Glad you'll be joining us! You are so lucky to be doing B2B on the Dream! I would love to do that! This will just be our sixth Disney cruise, but we are sailing to Alaska next July on the Wonder. My whole family loves doing the cruises--it seems there is always something for everyone. I just can't wait to check out this new ship!!!
