Just returned from a trip. While at AK during closing time the cast members at the "sweets shop" in Africa were handing out left over Sahara Desert cake pops. They're coated in white chocolate with graham cracker crumbs for the "sand". It was a nice complimentary treat but not really my thing. My boyfriend, however, considers it one of the best things he's ever eaten!! And he's kind of a foodie. It's bizarre how much he liked them.
Does anyone know what those are exactly? I'd love to bake something similar for him at home but neither of us can place the flavors. To me it just tasted like the white chocolate coating but he insists the cake is amazing. Is it maybe spice cake?
