Sago Cay - new minimum?

I was just talking with a planner for a private party we are doing in December and he told me that the F&B min for Sago Cay is $750.00 plus there is a mandatory $250.00 lighting package. Has anyone else heard this? He said that prices are going up in October so maybe this is going to be the new minimum for this spot?

Are there different prices when you are not doing a DFTW?

My planner told me that when you are having a full meal the minimum is higher so maybe that's why it's $750?

I know for a DP it's $500, I just booked it a few days ago.

Now the lighting thing, I have no idea about. I just booked mine and no one mentioned it.

The only thing I could think of is it is in December (when it gets darker later) until 10:00 so we might need lighting.

I just had a meal there last week, and there was no additional lighting. Our min was $1000 because it was dinner. We didn't start dinner until 8 pm, so it was dark, the only lighting was the lights in the trees and anything off the hotel, which was more than enough. It was a beautiful setting and I would highly recommend a dinner here to everyone!
