This is a great topic...I wanted to add a quick one; On our first trip to the World, my oldest son, then 14 sat on one of the rope chains at MGM. Yes, we told him to get off but the "I know everything" attitude of a teen prevailed. Needless to say his arm got caught and the chain literally ripped a large chunk of skin off. He got off immediately after that. I approached a CM who was a few feet away. He told us to go the first aid station which was in the front of the park. I got out my first aid kit, cleaned and bandaged his wound, left, and went searching for the first aid station. The CM was not at all helpful to us...my son underplayed the whole incident and did not want to go to first aid. So we went back to our hotel to rest. We honestly didn't know how bad his arm was until we got home a few days later. It was cut open and did need stitches. He has a scar to show for the whole thing!
Lesson we learned: Don't sit on the chains!!!
